3 ways to make money online in Singapore? – Scams and truths exposed!

Maybe you’ve seen Ewen Chia on TV on February 9, 2008. (Is that why you’re looking for more on how he made millions online?) Our local Singaporean who put Singapore on the world map for affiliate marketing . If you have no idea what affiliate marketing is, keep reading. Affiliate marketing is basically connecting buyers with sellers. You act as an agent and earn your commission (between 50 and 75%) by sending the buyer to the seller. Easy!

I want to touch on how Singaporeans or indeed how anyone can make an income online. There are many programs that offer get rich schemes. Those are scams. There are many “not scam” programs out there that are not right for you. Why is it so? If you are a “newbie” to this internet marketing, you need the right information. Another analogy: a medical STUDENT can’t be performing complicated surgeries on patients that should only be performed by a qualified and experienced surgeon, right?

So, if you are new to internet marketing (also known as “make money online”), I would like to offer you some help on how to make money online in Singapore. (and all over the world!)

1) Sell something online

Yeah, we all know… eBay and all that… The hard part is finding a “physical” product that actually sells! Advertising is not free either!

2) Become a ghostwriter

Face the truth, are you willing to write something and let other people get all the credit and glory while you suffer with the few cents they offer you?

3) Become an affiliate marketer

This is the best and easiest way to become a “netprenuer”. You do not require web development skills or need a product to sell. As I explained above, all you have to do is drive “targeted” web traffic (buyers) to your sellers while earning a nice commission.

There are numerous ways to generate relevant web traffic. You can blog, write, use Google, Yahoo, MSN, the best part is how easy it is to do! Many people are afraid to try it because they think they are not computer savvy, the thing is, you don’t even need to be a computer savvy to make money online! All you need is the will to try!
