There are various types of natural stone tiles or natural stone slabs available in INDIA depending on technical specifications, hardness, porosity, finish and various other factors.
The main categories are: GRANITE, MARBLE, TRAVERTINO, SLATE, QUARTZITE, SANDSTONE AND LIMESTONE.
We must choose the stone depending on the environment of the area (Aspect and use of the area) and its use (High traffic or low traffic).
BLACKBOARD BLACKBOARD: Certainly these are the softest stones and can be removed with any regular pressure. Also, these may only be available in natural split surface. travertine stone: The travertine has pin holes in the stone structure of the stone. These holes are of various sizes. Some are small, some are a bit large at 5mm. Paving slabs are used for garden/pathway flooring. Other finishes are used as interior flooring and ceramic wall tiles. Sandstone is not as hard as granite. It absorbs water very quickly. Indian sandstone is used in both hot and cold temperatures in the Gulf countries. Other exterior floors/Walk/Parking in Natural finish are recommended.
Available sizes:- Indian Sandstone is available in 30x30cm to 60x120cm in natural split face slabs. The Smooth Surface finish is processed with a maximum height of 80 cm and a length of 180 cm. Being very large raw blocks, they are not available, we have to commit to the size. Some popular limestones are Kota blue limestone, Kota black limestone, beige Kota limestone, and Kota brown limestone.
INDIAN MARBLE: Marble is a type of limestone, it is basically softer and more sophisticated to the touch. Marble certainly gives an attractive antique look to the floor, wall or any countertop. Polished and leather/antique finishes are available.
Available Sizes:- Marble is available in block form in Nature. These are cut with large saws into pieces and then cut into sizes. That is why these are available in small tiles to large slabs.
