Immunotec Review: The Pros and Cons of the Immunotec Business

Immunotec Review

Before I get into this Immunotec review, let me introduce myself. My name is Ben Biel and I have been involved in the network marketing industry for over 20 years. My summer vacations were spent at network marketing conventions as a kid and my parents have been involved with over 20 different companies. I have had a love-hate relationship with this industry which, I believe, gives me the ability to offer a balanced perspective of the companies I review. I use a simple method of evaluating pros and cons that is not exhaustive, but I hope it will help confirm any research you have already done on Immunotec.

Immunotec Corporate Advantages and Disadvantages

advantage– Immunotec has been around for almost 15 years, is debt free and publicly traded, so it will be around for a while. It also has an impressive list of international patents to its name that provide security in the form of proprietary products.

Immunotec has an impressive list of executives, senior managers, and physicians behind it, including James A. Northrop, Dr. Wulf Dröge, Dr. Gustavo Bounous, Patrick Montpetit, and John Molson.

Cons– So far I can’t find anything negative about the corporate side of Immunotec. They have a very solid reputation.

Advantages and disadvantages of Immunotec products

advantage– With a ton of international patents on their flagship product Immunocal and Immunocal Platinum, as well as human clinical studies proving their claims, this is the strongest nutritional supplement company in the industry. They also have a great line of complementary products like vitamins that they continually refine as new advances in natural health are discovered.

Cons– Immunocal actually seems too good to be true. When you talk to the dealers and all the stuff they say it helps (cancer, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, Crohn’s, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s) it sounds like they’re marketing snake oil. After doing my homework, I found that all the claims are verifiable and the science behind the product is sound. I’m sure it’s something of a marketing nightmare for new distributors who, when approaching their friends and family, are asked “what health conditions does it help?” and say “all of them!” because most people would be thinking “that’s total nonsense”

Immunotec Business Pros and Cons

advantage– The business and the compensation plan are based on what I would call “reasonable personal consumption”. What I mean by this is that his minimum monthly volume requirements are never higher than what a normal person would buy from the products he sells. The starting requirements are around $150/mo which I think is very reasonable considering some companies require over $500/mo in sales. At the highest level, your personal sales only need to be around $300/month.

Another pro is that the products work. People see results in a very short time. The company’s customer retention rate is around 80%, which is insane. Most products have retention rates below 50%.

Immunotec’s compensation plan is quite lucrative and has built-in bonuses and summaries that most people don’t even know about (this part could be a scam because these summaries and bonuses are not explained in the companies’ compensation documents, but they can double someone’s income at a Gold level or higher). To give you an example of how good it is, let me compare two of my friends’ businesses. One is at Immunotec and the other is at another company. They both have downlines of around 300 people. The one at Immunotec has an average sale of around $200/month for each member in his downline, while other people’s sale is around $500/month, but my friend at Immunotec makes almost twice as much money!

Cons– The company does a terrible job of promoting and selling its products and an even worse job of promoting the business. The company’s replicated websites have terrible navigation and most of their copy sounds like a medical journal or science textbook. The people I have seen who are successful in this venture have often developed their own marketing tools. The company seems to be aware of this glaring hole in its business and is working to add better marketing tools for its associates, but has so far missed the mark.

Immunotec Review Conclusion

Overall, Immunotec is a great company with a bright future and excellent growth potential. If you are not afraid to tackle marketing on your own, you could exploit this weakness in the company and quickly advance through the ranks because so few people know about this amazing company.
