The number one indicator that she wants you

I get this question all the time: “David, how do you know if a woman is attracted to you?” A lot of guys will tell me, “I’m flirting with her, but I’m not sure she’s into me.”

One of the best indicators that a woman is receptive to your flirtatious words is if you can make her blush. So how do you make him blush? Is there a magic word you need to say?

Remember when you were in fifth grade and girls would tease a girl about a boy she liked named Robbie saying, “You like Robbie! You like Robbie! Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah!”

Let me tell you, we are no different than that boy and girl who were in love. As an adult, you want to fall in love. A crush is fun. If you like it, you can blush.

So how do you make a little girl blush, or more importantly, how do you make a big girl blush? You need to tease her playfully. Maybe you start by finding out something about her and joking with her about it.

I once knew a woman who was a Virgo. When she told me that she was a Virgo, I said, “Forget it. The conversation is over. I don’t date a Virgo. You think too much.” He was joking with her. So, for the rest of the conversation, I proceeded to pester her a few more times about other things.

It’s funny though, because the topic of the conversation kept coming back to how Virgos overthink and don’t like to change. He kept defending himself and saying that it was a change. In fact, I have no idea if Virgo doesn’t like change.

The bottom line is this: when you flirt with women, you want to mix things up. You want funny banter, but you also want to know who they are and what makes them tick. That’s called collecting information.

During a three-minute conversation I had with a woman while my friend was shopping for clothes, I was able to find out a lot about her. Not superficial stuff, real stuff.

I found out where she grew up, what she liked as a child, and that she was shy as a child (for which, of course, I made fun of her). The conversation was about learning what she likes to explore and do.

Instead of objectifying her like most men do, I met her while my friend was out shopping. Women want to meet men, but they don’t want to feel like they just got picked up by a pick-up artist. So now most of you would like to know how I closed it when we finished shopping.

This is what happens with closing someone down. If you pay attention to what they say, if you are interested in who they are, and if you mix them with playful and fun flirtations… then they are already closed.

If they are already closed, it means that they have already secretly fallen in love with you. If a woman has a secret crush on you and you ask her out in a funny way, she will blush.

So how did I ask this woman out? She’s new to LA and she told me she has 2.5 friends here, so I looked at her and said, “You really need more than 2.5 friends.
