The power of positive thinking
From time to time, we hear about positive thinking and negative thinking. Positive thinking, which is about putting your mind in the right direction by thinking and acting right. Negative thinking consists of fixing the mind on defeat, fear and failure.
It is indisputable that a person who thinks positively will find his path to success. But what are the ‘raw materials’ you would need along with this roadmap to achieve? The raw materials are the empowerment tools or ‘power’ for positive thinking. They are VISION, MISSION and ACTION
VISION
Many people talk about vision but don’t know what it really is. Denotatively, vision is a vivid image created by the imagination. It could also be something that can only be seen with insight or the power of imagination (Merriam Webster’s Dictionary – Home and Office Edition). The vision is not just about prophecies or testimonies. It is about your dream or goal created in your mind. This is the main purpose of a winner. In order for you to take a positive step towards success, you must have a vision. This should be after you have discovered yourself (as I mentioned above). You have to keep in mind that no dream is too big or too small. Every positive dream could be meaningful to the world. An individual has to draw a life purpose out of him because a past life without purpose is like an empty treasure chest.
ASSIGNMENT
The mission is the next thing a productive individual must have. Anyone who wants to bring his vision to life has to plan and strategize to achieve it. The land was not created in a day nor were monuments built overnight. Strategic planning and measures were necessary to carry out these tasks. An achiever has to trace ways and methods to make a successful trip by outlining and organizing his plans. He will have to think about what works and what works and what doesn’t. It’s also important to get the right information from the right sources. This can be acquired by asking questions, doing research through the media, or any other technique you think is best for you. By doing all of this, an individual becomes proactive.
STOCK
Furthermore, the trip does not end when a traveler refuels his vehicle. Refuel only propeller to the next point in another to complete your journey successfully. The next point involves the use of the third empowerment tool, which is action. This is when an achiever goes from being proactive to being active! This is when you have to practically make things work! Or better yet, the application stage! It is a popular saying that “actions speak louder than words”. The extent of your success depends on what you really contribute through your actions. Your input determines your output. To have a high level of efficiency in your goals, you have to give your best. By being dedicated, focused and determined, you are building strong pillars of success for yourself. Always keep in mind that “commitment is the mother of achievement”. The depth of your struggle determines the height of your success.
AN IMPORTANT POINT!
An achiever must acknowledge the fact that there is a Force behind all existence. An invincible, invisible, powerful and powerful Force that grants us all to possess. A successful person will have to reason and appreciate such blessings by acting correctly in the best possible way. Such an individual must behave like a rational human being and also develop a good character. Honesty is very important in everything we do. Humility is also important because developing pride and arrogance is like building a skyscraper without pillars. Imagine the result?
In conclusion, I would like to emphasize once again that living a purposeful life is all about having a road map known as positive thinking. This has to be activated by three powerful forces, viz; Mission, Vision and Action as listed above. More importantly, never forget your source of existence (Almighty God). I wish you success.
