What is iGoogle?
iGoogle, which was launched in 2005 (under the name Google Custom Home Page), is a free service from Google that allows users to create a custom home page.
The page contains the usual horizontal bar for Google services and Google search at the top. Users can add any number of gadgets (news feeds, calendar, email, social media apps, games, etc.) below.
