Why is money the most important issue for most people?

I recently tried putting ‘money’ into my article topics to see how they would fare above the others which include health, child abuse, spirituality, and latter-day prophecies, among other things. Of the top twenty, 12 have to do with money or the financial system. This speaks volumes for the way many think when it comes to what is important on the minds of many, and who can blame them? In today’s world, the economy is on the brink of disaster and people are struggling.

In Australia, where elections will be held on July 2, the economy is at the top of the government’s agenda. The Prime Minister promises better management of it and more incentives and growth leading to more jobs. While that is the promise, it is not the reality.

During the three years of the present administration the economy has regressed. Jobs have been lost left, right and center. Payments to parents have been cut, government-sponsored services have disappeared, and the mood is generally pessimistic. Businesses are closing and retail stores are finding it so difficult to trade that many are pulling out.

The global economy is also on a knife edge as economists struggle to prop up stock markets and maintain some semblance of stability. But how long can this go on before the big break hits?

Many of my articles are about this crisis and it is not surprising that people want to know. It seems that there is a general nervousness that is driving people to look for substitute leaders who promise things that are impossible to deliver. Some do not have to promise anything and are leading in the poles because the voters do not want the same back.

Is there anything that can be done to prevent Australia from going into recession? That’s the big question and it’s one for the world as well as other countries struggling with bankruptcy and declining revenues. Venezuela is a nation that stands as an example of what is likely for many other nations, and at this time there seems to be no one that is immune.

It is my opinion that we are in the last days and the prophecies state that at this time there will be a systems collapse as Spirit retakes control of the World Order that has been built on a false premise. That is money that was invented to empower men and while it has been pushed to the limit to do so, it is based on nothing but dreams.

With the memory of reincarnation and a link to the Spirit of the Universe, it is my opinion that things are about to change. In that case, perhaps people should stop thinking about money and turn their attention to their spiritual position before the end comes crashing down on them.
