This poem is about the search for magic that is mine and yours, women of fantastic art. Fairies in art, mermaids who sing in the depths of the ocean to the sailors they have captured for true love. All we have to do is decide what is real to us and embrace his music.

Fantasy art women
in your backyard
right where I left them.
Surprised?
Not to worry
I’m sure they’re still breathing
resting under blankets of flower petals.

Fantasy women
that come out after dark
wanting to see if the tide has risen
If the ocean still roars
They run to meet the foam
laughing through tears
waiting for magic
knowing that it can be found
somewhere.

I keep my canvas ready
ready for inspiration.
The last time i looked
my goddess were singing
then I started dancing.

Sloppy sometimes
only a goddess could think that
jealous soul.
I will hear my goddess say
“Did you forget my voice?
My paintings are my heart “.
The only possible answer

Innocent angels still wait
I draw them
keep them in my pocket
so you don’t forget that your wings are fragile.
So I don’t forget my own wing.
I will always hear their whispers
after every sunset
and before each sunrise

oils found in cotton
clay finding my fingers.

And I hid them until I felt ready
