$100,000 a month! What 5 things do I need to do?
1. The Core Values Match Question. Ask yourself if this business opportunity I am currently involved in or considering is in line with my core values. So, in simpler terms, “Do you believe in this opportunity and its products/services so deeply that you would sign up your own mom without hesitation?” If your answer is a clear “No”, then what you are seeing does not match your core values and you should move on to do your due diligence at your next opportunity.
2. Does your business opportunity have a large market sector? Whatever products/services you are marketing, you need to have a large enough audience to sell to. It’s much better to join a marketing company where 100% of people use your products or services every day instead of 75% of people who don’t use them at all. Get the image?
3. Dedicate 2 hours a day to building professional relationships. Mark Yarnell doesn’t care what time of day or night you do it, but he must put in 2 hours every day and talk to his potential clients. Remember that in this industry you make money selling products/services at retail along with recruiting your team. I only work Monday through Friday, weekends off.
4. Decide if you are going to earn $100,000 using the 1, 2 or 3 year plan. here is the formula
o 1-year plan (talk to 30 people a day, Monday through Friday for 20 days a month)
o 2-year plan (talk to 20 people a day, Monday through Friday for 20 days a month)
o 3-year plan (talk to 10 people a day, Monday through Friday for 20 days a month)
How the hell can I talk to 30 people a day? If you market your business effectively, then you should have no problem generating 30 leads a day. If you’re not getting 30 leads a day, please subscribe below and let me introduce you to marketing methods that allow me to have more leads than I can handle. You’re not having 30-minute conversations with every prospect. Take a few minutes to lead people to the information. If you’ve talked to 10 people but left voicemails for the other 20, well, you’ve talked to your 30 prospects for the day.
5. Recognize and avoid the 10 biggest landmines that blow up one’s career in MLM
o Don’t let others compare their company with yours: these people are vampires and will suck your energy.
o Don’t join multiple marketing companies for multiple streams of income. Focus on 1 company only.
o Multitasking pump. Focus on one thing. You can’t multifocus
or bank bomb. Don’t lend people money for your starter kit.
o Product Expert Bomb: The more technically oriented you are about your product and service, the more you will baffle people in your company. Don’t become an expert
o Pump of friends and relatives: it is not a market to exploit. They will join when you start making a lot of money. Don’t run away from them.
o Network Meeting Bomb: meeting where you present your offer for 30 seconds. Other networkers are just there to push their own deals.
o Dabble bomb: You are looking for people who have enough IQ and really want to get going and go to work. Don’t waste your time with a part-time worker (for example, you only work 2 hours a week and want to make $100,000 a month).
o Dump bomb – don’t dump all your information on your prospect the first time you talk to them. Just give them enough to get excited.
o Shortcut Bomb: There are no shortcuts, it’s hard work but worth it. Remember that full-time focused work is still 2 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
