The most valuable treasure

Once upon a time, all beings were summoned to a very special place in the universe, with the purpose of finding the most valuable treasure.

People came from different places, with diverse and great pretensions. They all wanted to be the winners and show their power and wealth.

There were some who brought gold, others weapons, science and technology. While others brought titles and properties. This event lasted many months and was so great that it practically took all the attention of the universe. Everyone was commenting on the event and all the spectators were wondering: What will be the most valuable treasure? What will be the greatest power?

Then, as if coming out of nowhere, an unknown man appeared. He was quite humble and wore a very simple robe. His face was serene and his step was silent. But this man did not carry anything in his hands, he did not carry any apparent treasure.

Those in charge of the event and the general public looked at it with arrogance and contempt. Then, seeing him so fragile and defenseless, they decided to make fun of him. And they said: “The last man on earth has come, let’s see what important thing he brings.” Meanwhile, they mockingly commented among themselves: “We see that it has no class or foundation.” And they put the man in front of everyone, they called the judges, mainly the wisest, even the oldest, and said: “Perhaps, you have not realized that there are kingdoms, valuable jewels, gold objects, great instruments of science and of great value, displayed in front of you. What can you bring? Are you crazy, maybe? Or maybe, your ignorance, does not let you see? Speak, once and for all, so that we can laugh and then we can choose the most valuable treasure “

And the man spoke in front of the crowd. There was total silence. And his words sounded like falling pearls, like angelic harps. And he said: “My brothers, judge for yourselves, because I have not come to show off or for personal glory, but to share something with you, which is really valuable.”

And then, he opened his robe and showed his bare chest. While simultaneously saying:

“You can find here a heart that loves you. And for this love, I wish you all Peace. You may have great riches, wonderful powers, but if there is no Peace, then there is nothing. Peace be with you. Because it is the glory of Love and it is the presence of God in your hearts “

And then, it stopped. And if before there was a total silence, now it was even deeper. And then, the oldest and wisest of all the judges stood up and said: “It is very true what you just said. How ignorant, we have all been! True wealth is not found in power, nor in control, but as you said: It is Love, which is eternal, true, and which is the promised Peace. You, without a doubt, are the most powerful and richest man on earth. “

And soon, the man replied: “Be it. But the power is not mine, since everything comes from God. And my science happens because I only trust Him.”

And the rich, the powerful, and all people bowed down before him. Then the arrogance was gone and the Truth was revealed. There is no wealth if there is no Peace.
